I figured that lots of us would be doing posts about the New Year, maybe reviewing things from 2012 and resolutions for 2013. They are always interesting to read and it would be interesting to see what everyone's written so here's a place to share all your posts about New Year!
Permalink Reply by Ashley Hufford on January 3, 2013 at 10:12pm I decided to take part in the "One Little Word" challenge for this year. My word was jump!
Permalink Reply by Dina Gharbo on January 4, 2013 at 8:25am It's that time of year again for a New Year blog post! But no talk of potential resolutions this year. This time, I'm focusing on reflections and lessons learned.

Permalink Reply by Justin Barlow on January 5, 2013 at 12:36am I did a pretty long (and image-heavy-ish) post saying "Goodbye, 2012! Helloooo, 2013!"

According to the girlfriend, the last bit (about her) made her come close to tearing up.

Permalink Reply by Delightfully Awkward Brittany on January 5, 2013 at 4:08pm I didn't do resolutions, but you can read about my (first ever) word of the year here.
Permalink Reply by Daniella B on January 5, 2013 at 7:26pm I hate New Years posts. I mean the new year happens and will happen until the apocalypse comes. It is fun to hang out with friends, frustrating to have to remember to date your papers with the new year, and all in all mediocre on the list of things that are amazing. I never got why people made such a big deal about it. I believe it has something to do with a clean slate, but that's an illusion. I would love to hear resolutions people make in the middle of the year, or on the thirs wednesday of July. Call me a cynic.
Permalink Reply by Martin on January 6, 2013 at 12:26pm This isn't your average New Year Post... I kinda just go off on a tangent about several different things. It was rewarding to write though. Cathartic almost.
Permalink Reply by Ashley Tamber on January 7, 2013 at 12:32pm I posted a recap and a word for the year. I avoided a long list of actual goals this year. http://yellowporchlight.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-new-year.html

Contemplating if I should party in DC....
