The Bloggers With The Most To Say
Well it's that time again---for people to start throwing out new years resolutions that they're gonna follow for the first few days of the new year. So what's yours? Will it be to claim you're gonna get in shape this year? You're gonna try to save more and spend less? Or are you gonna try to stop drinking and partying and focus on school/work( yeah right, who really claims this as a resolution?!)
SOUND OFF! WHAT'S YOUR NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION?

I don't have a real "resolution", but I do have a series of achievable goals [fifty of them, to be exact]. It's everything from donate my hair to charity, to riding a mechanical bull, to volunteering 5 times, ect. What about yourself?

Permalink Reply by Angie on December 27, 2010 at 1:40pm I have a few for good luck, which I refuse to share due to the old superstition of telling your resolutions will make them not come true. :P However, I did make all of 2010's resolutions come true, so that makes me quite happy. ^_^
Permalink Reply by Cassie on December 27, 2010 at 1:54pm At some point during the year, I usually forget what my resolution was. Although I think last year I unofficially decided I'd stick to blogging on more than just an irregular basis. So hey, I finally did one of 'em! I have no official resolution for 2011, but I DO plan on saving money for a European trip in the spring, and I also want to start taking piano lessons (if the guy on Craigslist will ever email me back). The trip to Europe absolutely has to happen-- I'm in no rush to find me a job and be stuck in the "career world" for the rest of my life, because that'll happen soon enough. Gotta see the world first. As for the piano lessons, it's something I've always wanted to do. Why get to be 40 and regret never having done it if I could just do it now? I'll give it a good, solid attempt, and if it's something I want to continue to pursue beyond a few months (i.e. I don't violently want to smash the piano due to my suckiness), then it'll hopefully be a lifelong thing. And that'd be pretty cool!

Permalink Reply by Linda on December 29, 2010 at 4:01pm still finalizing and tweaking but here's a draft
- read 40 books (maybe? I did this for 2010 and have .75 of a book left to read. don't know if i want to do it again)
- complete 10 sewing projects (i've never sewn anything in my life.)
- save $1,700 in my vietnam fund
- contribute to roth IRA (still working out numbers)
- try out 10 vietnamese recipes (I'm vietnamese and have never dabbled in the cooking)
- take a couple's trip for 3 year anni
- visit out of state best friend
- cross off another state in my list. (perhaps some more east coast states)
Yes I said this year too I would put money in a mutual fund----I wish I knew how to sew soooo good luck with those sewing projects! lol But you should def take a trip for you 3 year anniversary and visit any and every other state---you only live once right? Plus you have 365 days to get it done lol
