Wait, what? Why? I didn't get an email!!
There was a survey. We really don't like changing this, but due to many factors, we felt it best to move the location. I know this will change travel plans for a lot of you so I apologize for the inconvenience.
Hey Lisa,

I didn't receive an email either. Are you sure it went out?
Oh weird. I'll copy and paste the email here so that anybody who didn't receive it still can read it. It's a broad message to all 20sb... but I think there are certain email settings where you can disable receiving broadcasts from me.
Hey 20SB,

Important news! The location for our first ever ultimate 20sb meet up has been changed. No longer in Boston, it will now be Chicago! However, the dates will remain the same (June 25-29).

The main reason is to make planning easier, as many of our meetup planners are Chi-town locals. We just really want to have a well organised and incredi-fun meetup, and have decided that Chicago will allow us to reach that goal easier.

As always, you can find more information about the meetup here: http://20sbmeetup.wordpress.com/

Love love love,
Lisa, and the meetup planning team!
I'm totally bummed! I think there were a lot of us Bostonians who were willing to help plan but no one ever delegated duties to us. I understand in theory why you moved it but I am definitely disappointed since, like Dutchess mentioned, Boston won the majority vote. And now everyone in Boston and NY, which were the other top choices, has to fly (before, at least the New Yorkers could take a super cheap bus!). Ah well.

P.S. I also received the email about it so it worked in making it to some of us!
Even better - the chinatown buses actually don't stop in chinatown Boston anymore, they go to South Station which is Boston's big bus/train station dealy where all the other buses go. It's about 1000 times less sketchy than chinatown. It's also more expensive now - a whopping 15 bucks! Hah I know that's unrelated to the task at hand here, but just an FYI. I do love that bus.
Good point!
Yeah West Coast rules!
I agree. I was really looking forward to going. But now, because it's in Chicago, thus requiring the purchase of a plane ticket, I don't know if I can.

Any Boston locals who are finding it hard also want to stay in town and help me celebrate 3-0 that weekend?
The Dutchess of Kickball...
And do they pester you during the bus ride to buy a $5 Louis Vuitton wallet? ;)
