The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Its well known that I love old tv and movies. I've seen Swing Time more times than I can count and I love when i accidentally stumble across an old Judy Garland & Mickey Rooney movie on TV.

But I recently moved and got cable, and where I'm living now has a channel that shows nothing but old television shows from the 1950's & 60's. I'm constantly finding myself watching the old Batman tv show with Adam West, or Get Smart.

Tell me there are other people out there that love tv shows too? We all grew up with Nick n' Night right?

Well, I grew up at the bottom of the world where old shows were repeated during the day.  Especially on weekends, and usually British, so sixties, seventies and eighties BBC comedies are definitely my secret soft spot.

Dads Army (I still remember all the words to the theme song), Are You Being Served, Allo Allo and Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em are probably my faves.

I love Are You Being Served!

Well, 'tis isn't a secret, however I love: Dick Van Dyke, M*A*S*H* and Hogan's Heroes. I also love more modern series' such as Full House! As for movies, I love old black and white monster movies. Especially Dracula and Young Frankenstein!

Dads Army, and The Good Life are two that I like to watch if they come on TV when I'm round at my parents. When we were younger my brothers and I loved Mork & Mindy, Randall & Hopkirk Deceased, and Batman (and Thunderbirds...) Good times :D

I forgot all about Mork and Mindy.  Great show!

Okay, I got really excited when I saw this topic and then read your explanation and thought "oh", because my first thought for an "old tv show" was "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place"...

I also love M*A*S*H* and Mork and Mindy, both on constant replay on the digital channels over here.

Two Guys, A girl and A Pizza Place was amazing! Loved it!

I have loved Ryan Reynolds ever since that show! Too bad it didnt last longer!

When we were in Boston, Lauren and I ate pizza standing under a Beacon Street sign and took pictures, because we're cool like that. The friends we were travelling with had never seen Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place and had NO idea why we insisted that we had to do that!

Do you know you can't actually buy it on DVD here? I've searched everywhere.

I AM TOTALLY PUTTING THAT ON THE LIST! (of things to do when I eventually do my massive tour of the states)

I don't think I've ever seen that one on DVD. Is it available on DVD yet?

Oh my goodness, when I was little I loved I Dream of Jeanie.
