Outsourcing promotion of blogs?

So this week I announced on my blog that I'd be cutting back on blogging. Because I am tired. I love blogging but I can't sustain one quality post a day.

It's not the writing that tires me but the whole promotion side of it. Don't get me wrong, I love the blogging community, but being a valuable contributor of it is like a FT job (on top of my actual FT job)! Promoting blogs is a huge task.

My blog links to Twitter + Facebook after it's posted, but the other promotion is manual. Linking on forums, taking part in blog hops or even finding them - and communicating on social networking sites takes time.

So I got thinking - could I outsource the promotion of my blog to someone - say a media student? I'd want them to represent me on forums etc. And maybe I'd advertise it like an internship on my blog. They'd have access to my logons for forums. And be a good writer/speller.

Is it pie in the sky type stuff?

Does anyone outsource the promotion of their blog? If so, how? And who promotes your blog?
