Pictures of yourself on your blog
What does everyone think? I've been hesitant to do so but it seems to be trend. I have a few pictures but none of them really show my face.

my blog is just about cupcakes.... and for some reason my digital SLR is too difficult for other people to handle so it's always just the cuppies. I like keeping it more anonymous that way, i guess.

I put pictures of myself up all the time, along with my boyfriend. but I try not to put too many of my friends up. I agree that it makes it a bit more personable to see pictures of the person.

I tend only to post photos of myself if they actually pertain to the post. Otherwise, if there's no real reason, there's no need.

I don't put pictures on my blog. I'm kind of funny about that. That's kind of why I haven't joined any social networking like twitter, myspace and facebook.

I put pictures up in my blog. I guess it depends whether you want to be anonymous/semi anonymous or not. If not then pictures in your blog should be okay. :)

I don't think I've really posted pictures of myself on my blog. My avatar is Jen and I, though.
Honestly, I don't keep pictures off my blog for any reason. I'm pretty open. I just haven't really had much of a reason to post pictures of myself, though I've thought about posting pictures of myself in some of my favorite jewelry, shirts, etc. I think that would be fun! ^_^

Are you talking about adding a photo to your blog's profile page? Or just posting photos of yourself in general, like in your posts?
My blog was anonymous for the first year or so when I started. But I think people enjoy putting a face with the words they read. Gives the blog a little personal touch. Let's you know there is a real, living, breathing human being behind the blog and not just some bot.

i post photos all the time. lol. then again, I'm also a photowhore. if there's a camera around, I'm likely to put on my best paris hilton pose and go for it.

I never posted photos of myself on my blog because of my job situation. If ANYONE from my old workplace finding my blog would have meant trouble...
I've posted one photo of myself without telling people it was me. And I plan to post more as I become more brave about putting myself out there. But, as a semi-anonymous blogger, it's a little scary!

I don't feel very comfortable posting my picture onto my blog. I have on here a few times and of course facebook. as for my blog, I'm still unsure if I'm down with the idea. If I am writing a post and I have some nice pictures with my friends in it, I will crop the photo or find one that doesn't have them in it but the photo is still nice. I really take pride in my privacy and so this is probably why I don't "showcase" myself even if I wanted to.
