Do you ever get political on your blog? Why or why not? Do you like reading political commentary from your general not-normally-political blogger?
I ask because I recently wrote a "political" post, but it is not truly political. It is more a future-parent's perspective on the morality one hopes their child will have. http://timalohoney.blogspot.com/2012/11/non-partisan-political-thou...
Is that too close to being political for a non-political blog?
Just curious!

I don't write unintelligent opinions, I write opinions and back it up with fact. I could care less who I alienate, because I write for me. With that said, I think it's silly to stop reading a blog because of political affiliation. One of my favorite blogs is McCainBlogette, Meghan McCain's blog (I am very liberal).
Permalink Reply by brittanyr30 on December 15, 2012 at 11:18pm I intend to be a bit more political on my blog as needed. The main focus of my blog is contemporary culture; as a married working mom, that includes things like equal pay, work life balance, access to affordable health care, education...The list goes on. When something politically related to those things occurs, I do intend to talk about it. So far, my only political posts were pretty neutral, but some of them in the future may not be. I hope to reign it in enough to not go off half-cocked with a poorly researched post. That will probably help me handle any debates in the comments, too.
