The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I love to put things off, claiming to do them later. With the Internet around procrastination has become so easy (Twitter has coined its own version of procrastination; twittcrastination, it seems is a gripping social phenomena in www nowadays)  At college pushing things until the very last minute is not a hard thing to do and mostly it is somewhat easy to get away with some kind of excuses giving me more reasons to delay things. In fact I'm so good at this, that I made up a course for it,*translated how I procrastinate* : Procrastination101 (Tomorrow Never dies you know...)

I know procrastinating is just another way to escape reality and it hurts in the long run. I want your side of the story on the limits you pushed on delaying things or if you do not procrastinate how do you do it. Maybe it can help procrastinators like me in avoiding the word later.

Agreed. Procrastination is a huge issue for me. I always get things done, eventually, but I manage to find other things to do - never the things that really need doing. The internet is a big time waster.

If I need to get things done, I always do them under pressure - it's self imposed pressure. It's hard to not go on a site you like going on when you're researching something for uni in another tab!
It always gets harder not to open a social networking website while doing something for the uni, I started a section in my thesis report and planned to finish it in the end when I totally forgot about it. The funny part was that I turned it in and still no one noted the incomplete section. My thesis probably has a lower readership than my blog :)
Sleep deprivation on the day of deadline has become a pretty common thing for me. I remember staying up almost all night till 5 -5:30 for my finals last time. Mostly all things turn out well, so in a kind of way procrastination works for me, or I find no reason not to be lazy. I loving lazing around too much. But at some point I guess procrastinating will turn out to be a pain and I hope I can start doing things before that happens.
The only thing I procrastinate about is school. The rest of my life, I am super organized, full of lists and always on time. But ya, come school and papers, you can bet I am complaining about having to write a paper a day or two before it's due. I never learn. doh.
At least you have one major part of your life sorted out. I pretty much procrastinate on everything, especially the academics.
I guess I am also afraid to look at the bigger picture, and procrastination serves as a way to get around anything that involves pressure for some time and with social networking around that is well served.
lol same .. i shud be revising for my resits atm.. yh resists cz procrastination got me the first time. lol sighh kill me now
dude. i am the WORST.

particularly with writing deadlines... i've now lost two jobs over my procrastination (one non-paying, BUT STILL). i will sit down to work and watch law & order for five hours, then frantically scramble to get everything done in time.

i'm trying to be better... it's time to take my writing SERIOUSLY and not f*** up constantly. but it's stil hard.

for example... i should be working on my play, which needs revisions done by tomorrow. instead? i'm trolling the 20sb forums.

LAME.
looooooooooooool law n order o=lol i watchd d hole series of the good wife insted of revising lol hence y i gt 4 days to learn 4 topics :(
Writing deadlines are one of the worst, in the end you get to make a total mess of it which is nothing like what you day dreamed about it.
All the very best on coping up with the night before the deadline ;)
