The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Ciao Everyone,

In light of recent events I thought it would be nice to celebrate Michael Jackson as an artist.

Post your favorite song and why!

Rest in peace Michael, I know you're moon walking in the clouds!

PS: My favorite is "Beat it" becasue it reminds me of dance class growing up and all my friends I made there!

I was never much of a fan, but the news of his death shocked me anyway. And then I couldn't rip myself away from the TV even for a moment, needing to watch everything unfold.

Just blogged about it: "Twinkle, twinkle, little star." Although that may or may not explain why I was so enthralled by his death after all.
2 good solo albums followed by living out the life of a scooby doo villain in his own abandoned amusement park. The Michael Jackson that everyone loved really died over a decade ago.
Do you think MJ was a bigger musical legend than Elvis Presley or John Lennon? We're having this discussion over on my blog, please feel free to come and join in!
To me, Michael was one of few artists that it's hard to pinpoint one favorite song, or one favorite album. Because of that, I have a little tribute series going on over at my blog.

Today's post features some of my favorite songs. The songs that shaped me. The songs that touched me.
i love black or white. mj will always be a huge inspiration.
rest in peace michael... we'll always remember your music!
my favorite is really a jackson 5 song-- "i'll be there". it's so sweet but so poppy and happy.

Yeah, no matter what you think about Michael, his musical legacy will live on. Off the Wall and Thriller is his best EVER. I love his old classic stuff. My faves are PYT and Rock Wit You
I love Man in the Mirror. RIP Michael.
I also remember that I had his game Moonwalker on Sega Genesis as a young child. That was a fun game!
I've been reading the blog posts from all the 20somethings about MJ's passing, and I gotta say, we've got a lot of similar stories going on here! It definitely put a picture into my head of all of us as kids trying to do the moonwalk on a smooth tiled floor at the same time or rocking out to one of his songs with siblings, cousins, or even parents. I was able to grasp just how unified we 20somethings are, even with all of our differences. :)

RIP MJ.
