The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Just curious on everyone's thoughts on this subject. For those of you who have the option (I know it's available in hosted Wordpress blogs, not sure what others) ...do you publish the FULL post to your RSS feed or just the partial "teaser" to make people click-through to your site?

From a blog-reader standpoint, I tend to prefer full RSS feeds, but from a blog-author standpoint, there are a lot of reasons I'd prefer someone to click-through to my site too. (Though I do publish a full RSS feed for my blog anyway.)

Thoughts?

I prefer reading all my posts through Google Reader so when its only part feed I don't bother reading it. To me reading it all in one place is better for me as I tend to read posts at work and can't click through to loads of sites.
I used to only put summary's but I recently changed to a full post. It's annoying for people who use google reader to open up a new window. Since my blog is relatively new and I am still trying to bring in readers, I decided its best to provide the full summary and not annoy readers.

If my blog ever gets really big, than I might switch back to a summary.
I really dislike partial feeds and I usually end up not reading the posts unless the title is super catchy. I like to read everything in my Reader; I will click through if I want to comment.
FULL FULL FULL!

I am serious when I say I will avoid a blog post if it has a partial feed or even a "read more" option. I make exceptions for blogs I really love, but it's a huge turn off.
A-freakin-MEN.
Like others here... Full.

When I first started my blog I had partial feeds... then I realized that it was kind of annoying to do it that way... If people like what I've written, they'll click through to comment.

But yeah, with so many people using various feed readers to manage all their blogs to read... full is best.
There are two exceptions where I read anonymous group blogs that use partial feeds which make sense.

Anyone else using a partial feed? I'm sorry but I won't even pay attention unless I happen to love your blog.
Wow, it definitely looks like the consensus is FULL feeds!

Incidentally, this makes me feel SO much better about how "crazy" I am (or how crazy I'm *not*, perhaps) ... because apaprently I'm not the only one who gets really passionate about things like RSS feeds, haha
I have to be honest, partial feeds really annoy me, and I'm prone to just skip over them. Sorry friends.
Full feed. I read most of my blogs via feed and unless it's someone I have a special relationship with, aka have been reading for years. I don't read blogs that don't have full feeds. I think you'll find this to be the case with most people. I find partial feeds annoying and full feeds so mot make me comment any less,

I don't read my feeds via my blog but via google readers and the various home pages though.

People were told at one time that full feeds make it more like to get scraped but it also makes it more likely you will be read so it's a choice. There are many plugin to tag you feed to derail scrappers.
Isn't the point of subscribing to a feed to make it easier to read all the blogs you want on one page? It defeats the purpose if you have to click through.
Valid point! Of course, doesn't keep some sites from doing it anyway... :P poo.
