RSS Subscribers
Hey everyone!
I have a quick question to ask. Anyone can use Google Analytics to figure out how many people go on his/her website or blog per day, but is there anyway Analytics can tell you how many RSS subscribers you have? Widget? I would like to know how many (if I have any) I have? Thanks!

If you add your blog's RSS Feed to Google Reader, you can click "show details" and see how many people subscribe to your blog.

No, not that I know of.
My RSS Feed (http://diamondkt.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default) doesn't go through FeedBurner, but I did set up a free e-mail list through a service FeedBurner offers that people can add themselves to. Then when I publish a new post, it gets sent straight to their inbox. I am able to see the e-mail address of the people that subscribe to my RSS feed via my e-mail list, but if they just add my RSS feed in their Google Reader, I can't tell who is reading.

I think Google Reader will only show you how many other Google Reader subscribers there are, not across all feed readers

I like feedburner --- it appeals to my inner econ chick with some stats :-)
And if you change addresses/platforms, you change the feed url in feedburner, and it will automatically change it for your subscribed readers so you don't lose anyone in the move

From what I have read, the results you get with Google Analytics and Feedburner are not very accurate. This is because the stats are based on how many people came to your site via RSS on a daily basis. Not everyone opens their RSS readers daily so one day you may have a ton of subscribers and the next day lose a ton.

Yes. That's the one annoying thing about feedburner. My numbers change every day so it's difficult to tell exactly how many subscribers I have.
