This year, I discovered a movie called The Room that is so bad that it's like a masterpiece of bad filmmaking. It's so badly made that it's actually hilarious, and I just did a recap of it on my blog.

What movies have you seen that are so bad they're good?

The new Adam Sandler movie That's My Boy falls into this catagory in my opinion. Love Adam but his movies have been getting worse. In this one he crosses EVERY line and it works for my twisted sense of humor. Will have to check out The Room!

Thankskilling. It doesn't have to be Thanksgiving to watch it, I promise. Your brain will MELT.

Spice World.  It's so bad, but I love me some Spice World.

A ton of 80s action movies. Like Rambo and Commando. They are hilarious. "He's trained to eat things that would make a billy goat puke!"

Starship Troopers was a good choice too.

Commando is amazing.

Old movies are really fun. My three favorites would be "The Monster That Challenged the World", "The Brain That Wouldn't Die", and "Man Without a Body".

And they're all on Netflix, so it's fun.

At another time, I might've said pretty much any of the Mary Kate/Ashley Olsen movies. My older sister and I used to watch them just to make fun of how awful and cheesy they were. It was a tradition where we'd get the same food from the same restaurant, and Ben & Jerry's pints, and spew hate at the ridiculousness. But we tried this again a year or two ago after several years of not doing it and either they got worse or our tolerance decreased because it was too bad to even make fun of the awfulness. ((sigh))

There is actually a flash game on Newgrounds based on The Room where you can play through the entire plot of the movie. It's pretty awesome.

And for those who enjoy laughing at bad movies, you should listen to How Did This Get Made?, a podcast about discussing/reviewing those bad movies. They did an episode on The Room, and many other famous stinkers.

Also, TROLL 2.

Spork. I came across it on Netflix randomly and figured I'd give it a shot. Five minutes in, I was scratching my head and giving my TV the WTF face (kinda like watching Napoleon Dynamite for the first time). By the end, I was laughing hysterically at how odd and random the movie was. Overall, I would probably definitely watch it again!

Dead Alive. I am a sucker for bad horror movies and  this has to be one of the best. It is really just ridiculousness and gore. It is truly terrible.
