Only been blogging for a month so any tips on how to attract readers would be very useful!

Just be active within the blogging community. if people never see your face (so to speak) they'll probably never find your blog.

My only issue -- and a small one at that - is the background is a little overwhelming - I get chronic headached and looking at all that busyness just made it hard to read. That and your photos are pulled out of ratio a bit - other than that your content is great! xx

You could start by using the search function on the discussion board. There are a bunch of other threads on this same topic.
My advice, as always: read other blogs, comment, rinse, repeat.

I agree with Ally Mac, the background combined with all the different colors of font is a lot to take in. It seems like a really good idea for a blog though! Can't wait to read your next post ;)

Thank you very much for all of your advice it is all really useful!
I love reading peoples blogs and leaving comments so will certainly carryb on doing that.
I will also look at all your blogs too.
So regarding my background and font colour, i will tone it down a bit but also i thought the change of colour would make it more interesting rather than keeping it constant black, would it better to just keep it bacl or just any colour throughout as long as it doesnt change?
