Love is that feeling. A secure feeling that lets you be yourself with somebody. That feels warm and fuzzy, sitting in your chest and glowing. It is not like infatuation, that will make you do stupid and crazy things.
It is more comfortable than that. More freeing. It is having a partner or companion who it there for you when you need them, but sitting patiently in the background when you don't. A person who you can share anything with, no matter how crazy . It is that feeling that lets you know that you can trust them, they can trust you. It's recipricated. It is bittersweet.

I believe there are a bunch of different types of Love.
But to me, Love isn't just a feeling. It's a choice.
I chose to commit to my fiance - who brings a whole world of baggage. And although some days I may not be swelling with loving pride, I made the choice to love him - for better or for worse.
Well that's a loaded question. I guess love is different to everybody.
As for me, I don't know how to define love, but I do know two things for sure.
I've found that you don't have to like someone in order to love someone. And that love is not the same thing as commitment.
Other than that, I love to love and I love being loved.

the 2nd or 3rd chapter in the famed "Road Less Traveled" by Scott Peck, M.D. is what I strive and hope for in terms of love. It's the chapter on love. I think it's the 2nd chapter. Very famous.
