The Bloggers With The Most To Say

In just 10 days my country will be hosting one of the world's biggest sporting events. And I am beyond excited! I live in a host city which means that there will be games played right on my door step and we are going to have tons of tourists. I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait for it to start. I remember when we were told me we would host it and the countdown began - I was still in school! My mum let me say at home until they announced it and then dropped me off late with a note explaining why!

Are any of you coming over, or have family coming over? Do you have any questions about the World Cup or South Africa that you would like to ask? Who are you supporting?

I think that it is possible with enough capital. The newest one which has done very well is Green Bean. Check them out on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=195793605095

Yip, SA is awesome. I love my home so so much. Right now we are in winter and today it was 27'C! It doesn't get much better than this!
I'm really excited about the World Cup, but England always is even though we haven't won since 1966. It'll be embarrassing to go out in the first round, but I wouldn't put it past them because we're missing a lot of key players. And I won't even get to perve on David Beckham in shorts. One reason NOT to watch it haha ;)
Which they will! When it comes to penalties, we're so bad!
I'm from the states, but I've never really cared for our national side. I've always been a Germany fan. It was when I was taking German in high school and at university that I developed a love of watching international matches. Before all I watched were our high school teams, since I had friends who played.

Looks like it might be a tough Cup for Deutschland this year, though, with all the injuries!
I love it when the world cup comes around! I'm naturally rooting for the states. AND SPAIN!! I will actually be in Spain and Italy watching the games with the locals. I'm so excited!
