I've noticed that a LOT of bloggers I admire have been involved with Stratejoy, and after looking around the site, I'm intrigued. I'm thinking about completing a course and/or signing up for the prompts, but first I'd like to hear from some people who have used it.
Would you recommend it? If so, what specifically did you get out of it and how did it help you?
So, I've done three of these courses/products: The Joy Equation, The Joy Juice (Writing Prompts), and the 2012 Holiday Council. The Joy Equation was the first one I did and is suuuuuuch a good way to carve out time for yourself to journal and explore your core values. It's a great foundation for taking next steps into changing direction in your life or adding/removing things to enrich what you're already doing. The writing prompts are AMAZING and full of Molly's joyful, passionate spirit. I'd highly recommend that if you go this route, you get a special new journal just for these reflections.
I did the Holiday Council last year, and it's a killer way to look back on the past year and set goals for the upcoming year. This is done alongside a small group of other people and guided by Molly, and is a really great way to get clear on what worked, what didn't, and how to move forward. I know this just opened for enrollment this year :)
Anyway, I'm COMPLETELY biased because I've been involved with Stratejoy for years and Molly has become a dear friend of mine in that time. But if you're looking for something inspiring, to hold you accountable, and to get you excited about whatever the next chapter in your life is, I HIGHLY recommend them.
Hope that's helpful, and if you have specific questions or want to talk any more about it, you can email me - doniree at gmail dot com, or tweet at me (@doniree).
I was a Season 3 blogger for Stratejoy, and I did the Joy Juice prompts and The Joy Equation. If I were you, if you like the kinds of reflections you see on the Stratejoy blog, start with the Joy Juice writing prompts. And if you find yourself craving more, spring for The Joy Equation. I found TJE really fulfilling because I started it at a time in my life when I really needed direction. TJE forced me to take inventory, identify my passions, and refocus my goals. If you're feeling a little lost, TJE is amazing. But if you're just looking for some reflection, the Joy Juice prompts might be enough for you!
I've always been a little skeptical of these kinds of products and services, but Molly is great and has put together a well thought out line of products that I found incredibly fruitful.
Thanks, guys! I'm a bit skeptical of things like this too, but I just saw so many people, all bloggers whom I really like, talking about how great this program is, so I figured there must be something to it. I think I will try it out!
I'm personally a big fan of Stratejoy. I've bought the Create Your Magical Year course and The Fierce Love Course. I actually haven't finished either course that I bought, I'm really bad about doing that.... I buy these sorts of courses, do the first two weeks and then drop it, but that's more a reflection on my commitment to things than it is on the quality of the courses. I just signed up to do the Holiday Council course that starts right after Thanksgiving... I'm hoping that doing the course in real time with other people gets me to stick with it better than I stick with the self-led courses.
