Tattoo You!

So tattoos, 20-sb's, what do you think? Do you think they're full of The Awesome? I'm thinking that I'm going to get a third this weekend and I'm pretty pumped. What do YOU think about tattoos?

I adore tattoos. I have three right now, designing my fourth.
I design my own, one because I am very picky, two because I want something original and three because I think it ends up meaning more to me that way - not only does it have a special meaning for me, but it has my time and my style and my taste invested into it.
I have them in places that can be easily covered if need be, but easily shown off if I choose. I dont think Id get them in places where they are constantly visible, simply for work reasons - they ask you to cover them up anyway.
The only tattoos I really dont like are the generic "just coz I could" tattoos. You know, the ones picked right off the wall/out of the book at the tattoo place. I think thats simply because I think tattoos should have a meaning to you - i mean, theyre going to be there forever, right? If youre going to pick one of the generic ones, at least change something on it to make it more personal.

I second all of the above! :) I just got my second this past weekend and I adore it. I had been thinking about it for a while, and it's been almost ten full years since my first. As long as you give a tattoo the serious thought it deserves, I say rock it and enjoy!

So I got my third tattoo this weekend. It's a phoenix, and it's not quite finished. The color will be done in a month. Also, the lighting is what makes me look yellow.
