Tattoos
I know there have been quite a few topics on tattoos in the past but I thought I'd start a new discussion since searching the forum showed no posts on the existing topics in quite a while!
What's your view on tattoos? Do you have a tattoo? Two? Several?! If so, what have you got and where? Did it hurt?

Here's mine :) it's pretty tiny and it's on my shoulder/upper back. It's the first one I got, during my spring break in Amsterdam.

I have three tattoos: one on my left shoulderblade of a flower, and then one on each of my inner wrists. On one side, it says "love" with a heart next to it, and the other side says "hope" with a butterfly next to it. I don't have any pictures up, though. I'm not on my computer, so maybe I'll post them later!

My sister has one on her shoulderblade too. We (semi) joked about disowning her when she talked about getting it.
Turns out it looks rather pretty. It's some kind of bird with flowers around it. She says it helps define 'who she is'.
But there's always a strap from her top that goes straight through the middle...

I have one. Thought about getting another, but have heard it becomes addictive, and I don't want to be one of those people covered in them. Mine is on my shoulder. It's a black star with a cross in the center.

I don't have a tattoo, but I don't dislike them. I was considering getting a tattoo once, but decided against it. My boyfriend doesn't really like the idea of me having a tattoo. He says he wants me to stay "pure" because I have no tattoos or piercings.

Haha, that is too funny - my lover recently told me that "he likes me pure" in reference to something else (mention of a certain career choice) and it cracked me up! I couldn't help but wonder where he got the idea that I am super 'pure.' Maybe it is because he has never seen me with piercings, I never thought of that one!

I love tattoos and got three at the moment.
I am getting one of mine redone and extended at the beginning of July as its faded and its going to hurt as its on my hip. I am also planning on getting a completely new one for my birthday in September as a birthday treat to myself. I find that they do hurt but you soon get numb from the pain and you just have to get through it as its worth it after its all healed.
