The worst date I ever went on was...
At lunch today my colleagues and I started swapping stories about who had the worst first (and last) date --- Mine was with a dentist. Why is his profession important? Because he spent the entire meal discussing how my bicuspids could be 'enhanced' ... if you thought wearing a low cut shirt made you self conscious, take that feeling and multiply it by a thousand... or two! Needless to say, I didn't see him (or his sweater vest) again!

Have you ever just felt like someone thought you were crazy or didn't get you? OK well last year I went on a date with this guy I met online. I was meeting up with him after I got out of work and since the store was a disaster (I used to work in retail), I called to let him know I would be late. I said that I would be late because "the store looks like a bomb went off in it" and he seriously was like "WAIT! A bomb went off in the mall!?!" .. I let that one slide. So when I got there I went into a mini rant about how I hate kids whose parents let them run wild and that just don't know how to behave and he responded with "Well, then you would really hate my niece". Like WTF I'm sure I'd hate your 5 year old niece! I don't remember all of it because it was a while ago but it was just NOT a good vibe!

Wow - yes, I have met people (men and women) who took things waaay too literally - or just were half a beat off from me... awkward doesn't even begin to describe it!

Wow... I'm not sure I have more to say than that...
And that I'm officilly assigning myself a babysitter the next time I have more than one drink (I'm such a cheap date it's pathetic) to make sure I don't do that! Eek!

Way to go with your instincts! Yes, it is a scary world out here in single-land... but better than being with the wrong person (at least that's my philosophy)
