The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Basic question: Which do you prefer and why?

I tend to lean toward Twitter (http://thecuriositiesofacollegekid.blogspot.com/2010/06/twitter-vs-...), but I do admit that Facebook has its perks. Or maybe I should just trash both of them and forsake mainstream social networking altogether?

I definitely prefer Facebook. I've never really gotten in to Twitter; I'm wordy I need more characters then they will give me!
I wouldn't trash them both- if you like Twitter then stay on Twitter but keep a Facebook profile for your friends to find. No reason to really choose on over the other.
I prefer Facebook as well! I guess it's mainly because I've had it longer, I'm used to it, and I just can't get used to Twitter for whatever reason. It doesn't keep my interest like FB does :)
I don't like either Twitter or Facebook. But then again I'm not entirely sure how to use either one. I'd take the time to figure them out, but I'd rather be blogging.
Twitter, all the way. :)
Facebook is good for keeping updated on things, but I've simply abandoned all my status updates and now I just Twitter. In part because I curse a lot and my entire extended family has friended me on Facebook.

FB was awesome when it was exclusively colleges and you could post embarrassing drunk photos and no one would say anything about it at family gatherings...oh, sigh, the old days of dirty, sleezy facebook albums...

Now I feel like all my friends feel the need to put every detail of their boring days into status updates - thus, why I prefer the character limit on Twitter.
Preach it, sister. :)
i was anti-twitter in the beginning, but now i use it more than facebook. it's short, quick, easy and doesn't have anything that makes facebook so annoying (the complicated privacy settings, cough).
I don't know if I can choose, I like both for different reasons.

With twitter I use it more as a place to vent and talk about random things that cross my mind. Also for me it's a good way to connect to people who have similar interests just by clicking on a hashtag to see who's talking about or watching the same thing.

Facebook is more of a place for me to connect with old and new friends and things more related to my daily life. I can look up a friend and ask about a book or assignment for class and I can find people I haven't seen since grade school. The only downside is that I feel more limited with facebook with the crappy privacy settings and the fear that potential employers can find you on there so I have to be more careful about what I post. I guess in that sense I prefer Twitter because I can pretty much say whatever I want and I don't care.
I have been using my twitter account much more lately.
I prefer Facebook. Lots more things to do on facebook.

However, you can find me on twitter @dutch73 :-)
I definitely prefer Facebook. For me, it's less work and my time is worth something. To someone. Eventually. But I really don't understand the whole Twitter rage because it's dumb. I don't care if you just pissed in a portapotty at a concert. I'm glad you're potty trained but honestly? NOBODY CARES. :)
