Video help!

Does anyone know of good (cheap-lame I know) video editing software or even something to download? I'm currently using the one that comes with Windows and it's slightly sub par...to say the least. I'm trying to break into puting surf videos up on my blog. To see what the hell I'm even talking about you can see my latest blog entry.
