The Bloggers With The Most To Say
Vlog anybody? *scratch scratch*
Logging onto Youtube, I'm always surprised to see how many vlogs are out there. And some of them are actually churning out some great stuff. I never gave video blogging a second thought.
I believe, to have a successful vlog, you gotta have it in your genes. I mean, either you have it, or you don't... and well, I don't :P.
I am always itching to find something new to see around the web(which basically means, I have a 'boring as shit' life). So any 20 something vloggers out there? Put down that camcorder and show yourself.

Don't be nervous. I'll be honest, it took me a long time to get use to vlogging. Then again, the same happened to me when I started to blog. Until you feel comfortable on camera, then it would be awkward. It takes practice. The more you do it, the better you get and find your voice. Just like blogging

You're not yourself because you're just not use to the camera. It's like giving a talk in front of a crowd but in this case, the crowd is the camera and you can't truly see your audience. Stick some underwear on the camera and that should help...or make you laugh at least.

I made two completely lame vlogs on my blog. Someone dared me to the first time, so I did. I sang a freakin song from Little Mermaid. So dumb. Then, people said they wanted me to do another one, so I did. The second one I sang some Christmas songs. It was actually kinda fun. I absolutely hate watching myself on video though. I think I'm done with vlogs for a while.

Just a warning, you should avoid using copyrighted music on your vlogs. Your videos might get muted by YouTube, taken down or even sued (extreme case, but rare). Use royalty free music to be safe.

I really want to try a vlog, but I keep putting it off. Maybe I just need to write a script for myself. :-p That might help - and make it look 10x worse. Plus I have no idea what people are looking for in a vlog. Thoughts?

Maybe you should give vlogging a shot. You can check some of millions of vlogs on Youtube but I suggest you should be original. I watch loads of vlogs but now I'm getting bored of most of them.
Anything new and original will be a welcome change.
