I recently posted a little about my sudden onset wanderlust. Here's my question to you:
If you could go anywhere in the world RIGHT NOW, money and time are no object, where would you go?

Things to do, people to see. Y'know how it is.
Very interesting. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they wanted to go to Tegucigalpa. Thanks for being my first.
Permalink Reply by R...RAWR on January 5, 2013 at 4:52am I haven't done Latin America yet- my passport feels a bit bereft.
I don't know why I said Honduras first.. but it seems pretty incredible and like as good a place as any to begin to discover the region.

Permalink Reply by Katie on January 4, 2013 at 10:47am Ireland! Hopefully that will become a reality this summer. I've never been to Europe and I'm mostly Irish, so I'd like to get in touch with my roots.
I want to go to Ireland but mostly to visit my lovely Harley who is not there but now in Germany. Ireland will have to wait. ;)

I'm inclined to say France, because I studied the language in high school and college, I've never been there, I really want to see the Eiffel Tower and (more importantly) the Louvre, I'm obsessed with Monet's Water Lilies and would love to see the places he went to paint those, and I love french bread a lot. But I've already been to Europe and I still three continents to hit...
So the other option would be Australia, because that's one of the continents I have yet to hit, and I know people there now. Plus, it'd be fun to visit 42 Wallaby Way in Sydney. :P
AUSTRAILIA! I had a good friend who went there in middle school and all she talked about was Australia. Since then I've said I wanted to visit (on vacation, for my honeymoon, to study, ANYTHING) and now that I know so many lovely people there, it really has grown to an almost obsession. Need. to. visit.
France is high on my list also.
Permalink Reply by Sarah Hayes on January 7, 2013 at 2:21pm I feel the way about France that you do about Australia. I mean, I don't really know anyone there, but I've always just loved the idea of it and the more I learned about the area, the art, the culture, the language, etc., the more I've wanted to go there some day.
Permalink Reply by Melanie on February 26, 2013 at 6:59pm I've been in Australia for 8 months and I LOVE it! I would highly recommend a visit :) but if you come, you have to hit New Zealand as well.
