Weekly Features

Hey everyone!

So, the more blogs that I've begun to follow, the more I've noticed that people feature a weekly post (TMI Thursdays seems to be a popular one)

I've also noticed that it seems to get readers really involved, and I love the idea of those stables weekly posts... What kind of features do you guys do? I'm looking for some cool ideas to get started on some weekly features myself!!

I do Tuesday Tunes on my blog, where I list music that I'm enjoying at the moment... and I participate in Classy in Philadelphia's Where in the World Wednesdays. It's fun and I've found a lot of other blogs through reading the WitWW posts!

I totally love the idea of Tunes Tuesdays, especially since I'm such a huge music lover. LOVE it. haha. I also follow Classy in Philadelphia! I actually just read her Wednesday post and that's what inspired me to write this post to find out what other original ideas people have. Funny you should mention hers, out of all of them! haha

Hi Jaxie and M'liss ..i joined Classy in Philadelphia's Where in the World Wednesdays and yday was my first post ... i thought it was pretty exciting and a fun feature ..its like a virtual vacation :)
And jaxie , you're right i found so many interesting blogs thnks to WITWW :)

I do one called Celebrity Tweet of the Week. I basically track the funniest celebrity tweets and declare one celebrity the winner. I keep points standings and name a champion at the end of the year.

I've gotten away from it a little and don't do it every week though since tracking tweets can get a little tedious. People seem to like it though.

That sounds like fun! It sounds like it could get tedious though, it must be hard to keep up with... but probably really entertaining to read!

Omg, I should do something like that but not in the sense of naming a champion at the end of the year. I am on Twitter all the time. I should try to incorporate the site onto my blog. Eureka =)!!

I do "Transit Tuesdays" here and there where I share funny stories/thoughts about my adventures with public transit.

I love it when people post a weekly series. Others I've seen are weekly recipes, weekly rants, weekly goals, weekly giving thanks, etc.
