but I really want to know how they give it to other bloggers. Do they get the htmls from a website? I want to know because I have a long list of blogs that I want to give awards to. :)

Hi! You can easily pass blog awards on to anyone you want - they are kind of like chain letters. You "tag" bloggers with awards, and then they in return are to pick a certain number of bloggers to award them with.
I used to get so many of them that I had to stop posting them on my website, or else my blog would get cluttered with too many award posts. So what I'll do now is email the blogger and personally thank them for the recognition.

Yes, I don't post my repeat awards. Make friends with other bloggers and somewhere down the line you'll be sure to start receiving them. By nature they have to multiply. I don't even let my awardees know... It's just a chance to tell people to read my favorite blogs :).
