The Bloggers With The Most To Say

There is always a lot of talk about new goals during the new year, but what are you saying goodbye to?

My partial list is here: http://bit.ly/6mR6Cc

I am saying goodbye to flabby arms, stomach rolls, and *unfortunately* potato chips, full-fat lattes and cheesecake. I have sworn off these things before, but well...

But I haven't completely forgotten all my old goals of this year? I gave up fast food for the most part, in fact I can recount on one hand how many times I've pulled into a drive through. I wasn't all that hard up about fast food anyways, so it was easy to relinquish.

And, I have lost a significant portion of those flabby arms and stomach rolls, and am just continuing on those original goals.

I also have a goal to settle on a hairstyle this year, and that has been a freakin pain...I don't know weather to cut it back to a shoulder length (because now it's way past my bra line) or to just trim it, weather to just keep it straight by flat iron or to leave it natural like I sort have been, and really kink it up to like a sweet, curly fro like I see is becoming so popular. Also, I'm getting more than my fair share of silver threads in my hair and am considering getting subtle highlights to at once change my look and cover the silver up (its too shiny and relfective to be just gray).

So that's it, beyond my acceptance into Grad School this September, which I KNOW I will get into.
Omgosh girl, me too. I was like whoa whoa whoa. When *I* stop waving, my upper arms continue, so THAT is just not acceptable LOL
I'm saying goodbye to infertility, and saying hello to being a mommy. 2010 is the year I will get pregnant, no matter what the universe says!
YES!
Can I just say -- a very good friend of mine is currently admist the journey of infertility herself with her husband and has been understandabley bummed. I just sent her the link to your blog this morning and she's COMPLETELY feeling better being able to read someone who knows how she's feeling! She's been all over your site this morning (sending me snippets via instant mgr lol) and is inspired to perhaps begin blogging her journey toward mommyhood herself! <3
Awwww, I'm so glad! Tell her to e-mail me anytime about anything! stateiamin1@gmail.com
being single! yay married life! i'll also be saying goodbye to about ten pounds in the next few months and hello to a six pack that i WILL have by the time we have our wedding in jamaica this october! yessss.
OOh a wedding in Jamaica...Just got back from there...wish I was there now LOL. Congrats!
Let's see... I guess I've never viewed it as what I'm purposefully leaving behind but... In 2010 I will happily ditch:

01. My sedentary lifestyle. I was happy when I exercised, happy when I was comfortable in my clothes. I'm saying "goodbye" to pitiful excuses on why the couch is such a better idea ;-)

02. I'm saying goodbye to feeling uninteresting. I'm digging my feet back into hobbies I missed: crafts, blogging, reading -- and aiming to pick up a few new ones on the way (i.e. perhaps learning to USE my camera, verses staring at it a lot and wondering why I can't mentally read the manual without physically doing it)

03. I'm letting go of toxic relationships. Working on letting go of resentment toward my past and instead saying HELLO to what I've got going for me.

I'm feeling a whole lotta optimism for the new year folks!! Can get I get a whut-whut?!!
I love this take on resolutions, what you're saying goodbye to...

I'm saying goodbye to that last 10 pounds of the 20 I put on over the past two years (I've already lost 10 so far!), negative thoughts, energy and negative people, all the clutter in my life and anything that is holding me back.
i think i want to say goodbye to living in an apartment that still looks temporary. i've been here for two and a half years, i'm signing a new lease today, and i think i want to start living like a grownup.

Sadly, I was staring at my shelf 'o 80s-ness (like.. disney and carebear things) the other day and thinking.. hrm. This is mildly embarassing to have IN A HOME OFFICE when we're going to be 27 LOL
