What are you thankful for?

It is that time of year, the time when we list the things we are thankful for. I wrote my list on my blog here (http://www.nesheaholic.com/2010/11/i-am-thankful-for.html).

Some days it is easy to let little trials and tribulations get us down. I hope to be able to look at that list when I'm having a bad day and
remember that things aren't' so bad after all.

What is everyone thankful for?

I am thankful for having a great job, awesome family, wonderful friends, and the perfect man in my life! Oh, and I forgot to mention my 2 poopers!

I am thankful for my beautiful wife, who is beautiful inside and out. She is my best friend, my soul mate, my life saver. She's seen me at my best and at my worst and she is my better half. She inspires me, supports me and believes in me. She is unconditionally faithful to me and I am to her. She makes me laugh, she comforts me when I cry, she puts up with my wackiness and is wacky right there with me. She is a big kid with me, I know I can always do a LEGO set with her. She is an adult with me, we do our bills together and plan our lives together. We have our inside jokes, our own language, our looks that no one else knows or gets. She's given me her mind, heart, body and soul and I have given her mine. Forever and a day and always. She, herself, is smart and beautiful and funny and kind. She has an amazing heart. She is adorable. She is my everything and she is what I am always most thankful for.

I am thankful for our kitty. Our little bundle of fluff and terror. For his way of diving into blankets, knocking on our bedroom door, playing with his toys and making us laugh. I am thankful that he's started cuddling and being more a part of the family. He was so anti-social as a kitten, we never thought we'd see him. But he's our little buddy now.

I am thankful for my job. My company, that lets me and my wife work from home. My co-workers and bosses who make me laugh, who are friendly, who have never made me upset or feel bad. They support me in my goal to become a supervisor and even possibly a manager or higher and they're helping me get there.

I am thankful for my wife's family. They have helped us out a lot, getting started. Jen and I sometimes have our differences with them, but they're always there for us.

I am thankful for my family, for many of the same reasons. They also didn't even blink an eye when I told them I was a lesbian and they supported me and Jen in our relationship together. They welcomed Jen as their little sister and I am so proud of them for that.

I am thankful for the good people out there. The people who help other people. The people who help animals, big and small, furry and scaly and feathery.

I am thankful for my religion. Wicca is perfect for me. I do not believe one religion is right for everyone, I believe that what YOU believe in and feel is right for you, is right for you.

I am thankful for our new car. Our beautiful new car that we both got to sign for, which I am VERY thankful for. It's sturdy and dependable and also totally kick-ass.

I am thankful we have a roof over our heads.

I am thankful for being myself. My weird, wacky self. I truly love myself, even if I can drop that positive image every now and then. I have the power to make my life, mine and Jen's life, what I want it to be. I go for my dreams, for my goals, for OUR dreams and OUR goals as a couple and I make them happen.

It really is a blessing to have good in-laws, not everyone is that fortunate. I am thankful for my husband's family being awesome as well.

I love crafting and making things. I'm really thankful for my health and the use of my hands. There are a lot of people who are in poor health, and I don't want to take any of that for granted. Great thread! :)

LaNeshe- I love that you are thankful for FAcebook. :) I have A LOT of family spread all across the country. I"m thankful for it too!
