The Bloggers With The Most To Say
We have a lot of critique threads here on 20sb. Since we're all trying to get readers, that's perfectly understandable. We want our blogs to be readable and aesthetically pleasing to those that stop by.
Nothing wrong with that, in fact it's great!
It's my theory though, that blogs are like our online houses. We decorate them, we put love and care and time into them. We express ourselves on them.
So what are some things that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside when you look at your blog? (Don't forget to link your blog, and don't forget to check out the blogs of the person or two or three above you!)
Also, feel free to contribute things you LOVE about other people's blogs. It's a big ol' love fest!
Things I Love About My Blog;
1. That pinkish background color. For some reason I just LOVE to look at it. It's not a color I include in my day-to-day life or anything (i.e. I don't own any clothes in that color) but it just thrills me to see it on my blog.
2. I just added 'Good Reads' to my right side bar. Pretty thrilled about that.

2. The color scheme is one of my favorites. It's simple, but that's what I like about it. It fits the title.
3. I love my menu bar. It helps me navigate things so easily. And I'm going to be adding a few new features to it soon, and I'm so excited to get them underway.
And most of all, I just love how blogging makes me feel. It's happy!
Permalink Reply by Kitkat on March 18, 2011 at 11:29am I like the rainy background on mine. I can't take any credit for the design, I just messed about with the Blogger layout stuff until I got something I wanted, but I like it.
Most of all I like the fact that my blog goes back to 2004, it's like a protracted snapshot of my life and I can go back and look at it any time I want! :)

Permalink Reply by Heather on March 18, 2011 at 3:26pm I love that my blog is a chance to have a fresh start. My previous blog (Boyfriend Challenged) was keeping me in this horrible place where I was not happy. This blog has been so therapuetic and even though it's not nearly as popular or funny as the one that I had before, it's been wonderful thus far. I also love how inspiring it has been, so far, to many of my readers. I get a comment or email every few weeks from other women who tell me how my blog has inspired them to change their own life. I love that since that was my personal intention. I'm doing something right, I think. That, right there, is why I love my blog. I'm still trying to figure out how to not write about relationships and dating but I think I've finally found a good balance. :)

i love:
that i designed my site/layout myself & how minimal/clean it is
the title, because it describes me & my life so well
that there's not a particular theme or niche that my blog fits into
how many photos i post!
that i bought my domain name in 2005 & i'm still sticking with it
Permalink Reply by Kelly Marie on March 21, 2011 at 3:22pm I love that my blog is a true outlet for my to compose and get in touch with my true feelings. I love that everytime I write a new post, I feel like a weight has been lifted. I love that I get to open up and set my feelings free, and have people comment and appreciate my innermost thoughts.

I like that I went with bold, girly colors. I tried to keep it neutral the first few years and then decided to stop giving a crap and go for pink and leopard print. :) I also love going back and reading all my old posts, seeing how much my blog has changed. And I like my Contact Me page. It's funny to see all the sites I post on...holy technology.
