What If the Internet Never Existed
I posted this on my blog yesterday, but I would like to continue the conversation here. So please tell me, what would you and how would your life be different if the Internet never existed?
For me...
- I would not have traveled as much.
- I would not have a blog/youtube channel that I consider an extension of myself
- I would not have made awesome friends
- I would be more shy on the phone
- I would be more shy in person
- I would not have been adventurous

I wouldn't be able to talk to my best friend in Spain, my friends in VA, IN, my family in NY or SC, regularly. No more emails everyday from deployed service members; we'd have to resort to snail mail. OH GOD! We ex-military people would be lonely folk, that's for sure!

College would have been a no-go!
I mean... can you imagine going through piles and piles of books of old literature??? Searching for just the right article... hundreds of times?!?! DEATH!
That said - I think it's a bit scary how dependent on the internet our society has become... I was saying to a friend that terrorist acts are going to become geared toward interfering with this system because the effects would be so widespread and significant!

even worse than having to dig through books of literature...having to write all of your papers by hand! (ok, well that's more of an "if computers never existed" but still)
