I guess volunteering in India at a slum school was the most that I've ever done so far... I taught English.

When I was just twenty years old I moved to Seattle to work in a hostel. I got on a plane with basically no plan as to how I would get to the hostel after landing, nor did I know where it was, exactly. This nice oldish man sitting next to me informed me that my plan was if not quite stupid, at least not quiet a plan and he decided to give me a ride. Not only did I not consider that he could kill/rape/mame me, he in fact did none of those things and I arrived safely.
So to recap, I met a guy on a plane and he acted as my taxi in an unfamiliar city, in a bad neighborhood--no strings attached. (Sexually)
