The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Hi everyone, I love reading the forums on 20sb but I've never posted on here before...until now.
I'm Nic, nice to meet you! (Add me if you want!)

What does everyone here do when you're not blogging? How do you make a living? Is anyone a professional writer or journalist?

I'm a staff assistant to an elected official in the federal government. That's really all I can say because I fear the Feds.
I work as a full-time waiter and cook for a restaurant here in Chapel Hill as well as a teacher's aide at an elementary school (although that one is more an internership than a job as I'm not being paid)
I am a nanny to two somtimes bratty kids in Amsterdam. :) I also edit students papers and a few english websites.
i wish i were a pro in writing. but i do manage the family's business, which has been giving me a really stressful time these past few weeks. by the way, the business is fire fighting equipment. i still can't figure out how i can learn to love that thing! =)
I am a web developer for one of the top sites in the country. I write HTML/CSS (and variations thereof) -- the designers give me their designs and I turn them into the framework for the software developers to put their fancy code into to make it work. It's fun stuff.

And I'll be going back to school maybe in the next few months to complete my Bachelors of liberal arts, completely unrelated to my profession...
I WISH I was a professional writer but unfortunately that is not the case! I'm an examinations administrator for a global accountancy body. Which is sooo far off the professional writer dream that it's not even funny!
I'm a copywriter for a marketing firm.
I work in accounting for a construction company Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday, I go to school for theatre costume design. Those go hand in hand, right?
Wow, everyone has such interesting jobs. I'm a stay-at-home-mom and a new comic artist. Neither earns me any money, but I'm happy.
I am a Mad Scientist. I finished grad school right at the impetus of the recession.
I do admin work @ a garage door & opener company. I've been working on finishing college since 2000, but I've opted for more leisure & travel and less education. Now, I'm on a mad dash to graduate. 30 is getting close and I think I'm actually getting ready to grow up. I think?
I'm a clerk at a law office. Shuffling papers, upholding the statutes of our day.

(boring)
