What is your earliest childhood memory?
Mine was when my Mom (RIP) was taking me to preschool because she had to go to work or finish her college degree; don't quite remember well, but after she left me there, I began to sob so loud because I was afraid of the "women with their big hairs" aka teachers with Afros. All I know is my mom came back to pick me up, haha.

now you've done it...uhhhh let's see...think it has to be my the time i got a fire engine for Christmas..I think I must have been about 2 or 3 not too sure

Hahaha! For some reason, I have a pretty vivid memory of my childhood days before I attended pre-school. I remember drawing all the stories in my head (since I don't know how to write yet haha) all day :)

I was at a play ground. I was going down a metal neon yellow and orange slide to my Granny's waiting arms. I must've been around 3 at this time. There was some sort of white and brown building in the background of the memory.
I had no idea where the park was in adulthood until I saw that building. Sadly, the jungle gym has since been ripped down and replaced by some plastic thing.

according to my mom, I was 2 at the time... I seem to remember being 3 or 4, but she says I was definitely 2. I remember riding my tricycle around on a red patio, with a fenced in back yard. I was holding a barbie doll & She was in the kitchen doing something or other. She also claims that I probably don't genuinely remember this either though- since we have photos from that day and the photos are probably replacing a memory of something else. But, I honestly, really remember it. At least, I think I do.
She's usually more shocked at how much I can remember from when I was 3- she had cancer that year and I was horribly traumatized. I can remember pretty much everything from that year very vividly.
