The Bloggers With The Most To Say
And of course there are a gagillion blogs on each topic so what makes one stand out over another, in your opinion?
My favorites are well-written blogs about life. I like to find people whose lives are completely different than mine, but I still seem to relate to. Very interesting.
I also love DIY blogs. I lean toward ones that have a clean layout and make things that would look good in my own home.

These people, among others, all inspire me. :)

Permalink Reply by Nagehan on December 30, 2011 at 7:05pm I really enjoy reading blogs where people just write about who they really are and how feel instead of pretending to be who they wish they were in real life. Pretentious that immediately lose my attention because no matter how hard some people pretend, something that isn't true to you will always feel inauthentic.
Agreed. Honesty goes a LONG way with me. I don't want to read just the highlights or fluff. I want to feel like I really know someone.

Permalink Reply by Kaleigh Somers on January 16, 2012 at 7:05pm I'm with you on that. I do like when they're creative about it. Straight posts on what happened — "And then I did this. And then we went here." — don't really get me interested.
Permalink Reply by Yishi on December 30, 2011 at 7:09pm I like reading blogs where people talk about things that reach out to me - such as their life in a different culture/city, or advice/tutorials/reviews on products/clothes. If I'm going through a new craze regarding a TV show or interest, then I enjoy looking up what other people think of such and such. They need to be well written (photos are nice but optional) to really stand out to me - it has to feel like they're talking to me, if you get what I mean? I want to read about people who I think I could connect with in real life! :)
Permalink Reply by Karie on December 31, 2011 at 2:12am I love when I read a blog and feel like I could be friends with them! Then I really do want to be friends with them and am sad when I can't be. Is that weird? Haha
Permalink Reply by Yishi on January 1, 2012 at 6:18pm Nah, not at all! I value people that I meet via blogs as real friends so you could too :)
