I ended my twenty five minute run/walk with a slowdown Vinyasa 40-minute session of Yoga. Can I just tell you how good it felt to stretch my muscles? I seriously miss the floor. That sounds weird, but you… I… almost become one with the floor. You let your body guide you. It’s crazy. My Downward Dog pose has completely changed. My feet are almost touching the floor as to when I first started (this was mid Sophomore year of college, and the year was 2003-ish!). It’s amazing.
To be at peace with your body, and just focus for once, on yourself.
There are a few workouts that I've tried before, but I just haven't liked. It's so hard for me to find a workout that I like that will stick with me! I know that Yoga is sort of slower paced (depending on the kind, of course), but I always go back to it. I mix up my Yoga with running. To me, it's the perfect combination.

I love Turbo Jam! I only tried it once - there was a workout on my On Demand cable program - but I'm dying to do more of it. I hate crunches, so I really liked all of the off-the-floor ab work.
Today I took my run/walk outside. I belong to a gym, but because of the almost Fall like weather, I thought to take my workout outside while I can. I know the weather is going to change soon, but I'm excited for it. I have dreams of running post dawn when the sun is just about to set. I dream of it, I can almost feel the crisp air flowing through my body. However, in regards to what you mentioned, I haven't tried running on a treadmill. A part of me wants to do a 5K and I know I can't run on a treadmill for that!

Recently I've been using my brother's video game systems and using Dance Dance Revolution as a workout. It's really great cardio, and it's a lot of fun!
I really want to get into yoga because it sounds like something I'd like (not to mention I need a stress-reducing activity to help with some health problems I'm having). I have one beginner DVD, but it's so hard for me to get into the right mindset and everything. I'm thinking of joining a class instead so that I can experience it better.
My all-time favorite has to be dance. I trained as a dancer for 15 years, and it's the best workout I've ever had. Having 2-hour classes four days a week, I'd be getting in all my cardio, strength training, and stretching every week almost effortlessly, just because it's so much fun. I really miss it.
