Do you absolutly love your job? Do you consider it a job, or a career? Who is your employer, whats good or bad about working for them? Are you accuratly compensated for your time?
I'm a student at the moment but I'm currently working part time at a performing arts academy in admin :) I do eventually want to work in the entertainment industry, but not in education. It's boring, and the first thing the boss said to me was, "You can work here as long as you don't expect supervision, and understand that we won't have anything for you do do most of the time". I'm a volunteer but am expected to revamp their entire website, organise a team building day, and a huge fundraiser. So I really dislike my job.
I am a Support Worker for people with learning disabilities. I do love my job even though I'd probably earn more money sewing footballs for Nike. I'd say that I see it more as a career as I hope to become a manager within a year or two. The firm I work for is a private care firm in the small town where I live, they own about 15 houses all with between one and four service users who live there. I am based in a house with four guys in but I do move around a fair bit, which is good because it stops me from getting bored. Unfortunately I can't really speak about my job in my blog due to confidentiality issues, but I'll plug it anyway; http://acynicsviewoftheworld.blogspot.com/
I'm a product manager for an internet marketing company. I conceptualize websites. My job would be great if the company I worked for wasn't horrible. I don't plan on doing this for the rest of my life, I am only doing it to save money in order to start my own business.
