20 Something Bloggers

The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Only as I've gotten older (and as blogs became more than a way for ME to share MY life) have I discovered all the different types of blogs there are, as unique as their authors. So I'm curious:

What kind of blogs are you most likely to read? (And for the heck of it, why?)

PS: I have a poll up about this issue on my blog, so if you want to add your input there, that'd be helpful in accumulating my results! Go here for the poll.

I read all types of blogs. I have a lot of personal blogs in my Reader, but I also like niche blogs - especially geeky ones.
Geek.
Takes one to know one.
These days, geek is almost cliché!

At least tech geek is. Or maybe I just like to pretend it is because I love tech geek stuff.
I read all kinds of blogs, mostly personal ones. There's one celeb gossip one that I skim through regularly, and I check out Mashable quite a bit. I'm starting to get into food blogs, though, so I may read more of those!
I tend to read blogs that make me laugh, because laughing is much easier than thinking.

And, man, being a 20something-- I try to avoid things that are hard. I figure-- leave the hard things for old age. Like hard candies. God, old people LOVE their hard candies.

Hmmm.... I smell a blog post.....
old people love their SF hard-candies! gotta watch out for those old people pancreases... pancreata?

laughing is SOOO much easier than thinking!!
I primarily read blogs in the business/marketing niche, but I also venture out for some more personal blogs like Holly Hoffman's Work.Love.Life and David Stehle's The Rest is Still Unwritten.

These are typically Gen Y blogs that are enduring many of the same things I am currently encountering in my own life.
I'm feeling a little bro-mance in the air.
Is it that or am I just envious your write about stuff I don't dare put on paper save a pen name?

Probably both.
My blog reads are eclectic not a whole lot of gen y blogs, though I'm adding those a little at a time as I start to familiarize myself with the bloggers, a lot of aid and development and Foreign Policy types. I scan a lot of blogs mostly from my reader or homepages. My blogroll consists of things to give people an idea of what I am interested, or blogs I started reading years ago when I started blogging at blogspot . I don't play to much with the blogroll these days.
I read lots of personal blogs. Most are 20something but a good chunk are mommy blogs. I read them before I even knew 20SB existed and love them.
