The Bloggers With The Most To Say
What makes your blog interesting?
I feel like my blog isn't interesting enough.. sure, I've only been blogging for a couple of weeks, but I want to catch people's eye more! I want a banner, button, signature, all that fun stuff, but lack computer HTML knowledge. What are some tips for a newbie blogger you guys can give me? :)

hey amber! i think that if you just keep doing what you do, people will come across your blog. i just read through a few of your entries and love it! make sure to be consistent with your blogging (something I'm not so good at...) and just try to get your name out there as much as possible!

I don't think mine's interesting in the slightest. I started it so I could get my random thoughts out and focus my real energy on serious writing efforts (yeah, like THAT'S going to work), but people seem to find it interesting enough. I just write about what's on my mind - so I guess I just put as much personality in as I can? I think that's the main thing. You'll find that people who are attracted to your blog are the same kinds of people who would be attracted to you IRL. At least, that's my theory.

I think what makes my blog interesting is the content. I don't really have any fancy banners or buttons or sparkles and unicorns. I have a simple format. And I write only when I know I can write my best.

Don't focus on your blog image itself. Chances are your 'followers' will read your posts in a reader anyway.
