I'm not a fan of fiction, or posts that are funny just to be funny - they have to go somewhere. I like reading about current affairs as long as I can participate, and personal rants are OK as long as they are written well and keep me interested.

For me, I'm all about a post with a little bit of humor, that tells about a person's day, or life in general! And pictures are a must for me. If it's just a wall of text, I tend to get a little turned off or don't read all the way through. So, splitting the paragraphs with photos always helps.
