The Bloggers With The Most To Say

After a year (more for my boyfriend) of not having cable (or any) television, we're stepping into the 21st century with cable tv, complete with DVR and all that fancy stuff.
Problem is... we don't know what to watch.

We have a couple of shows that we keep up with online (see my most recent blog post for details) but we're looking for things people recommend that we can DVR and check out.

Care to share some of your favorite shows, on here or in comments on my blog (shameless, I know)?

If you get HBO, check out Big Love and, when it comes back in June, True Blood. I love both of them!
We tried to watch True Blood... and couldn't get through the first episode. We hated it. :x
Big Love is one I wanted to check out, but we've never gotten around to it. Sadly, no HBO in this package..
Grey's and Desperate Housewives for you, and NCIS for him. Get netflix and rent 2 or 3 dvd's at a time, as many as you can to catch up, and then once you catch up watch them on tv.
Our Netflix queues are unfortunately totally full for a while, haha. But I'm sure we can find some way online to catch up...
I don't watch much network television I'm a cable news junky but I'm in rehab for that and shoppe watching it after the election. I watch "Dexter"," Heroes" which has been lacking last season and "The Tudors" but that is because I can tape them. get tuck on the Sundance Film channel and Independent Film channel and I hate to admit it but I started watching True Blood last season.
