The Bloggers With The Most To Say

As a busy college student, I'm usually running over to my local Starbucks for a daily, quick pick-me-up. I usually order a tall or grande (depends on the type of day) nonfat, caramel macchiato or white chocolate mocha. I'm always listening to other people's drink orders for possible drink suggestions and just out of curiosity.

So, my fellow 20sb-ers, what's your typical Starbucks order?

Nonfat, caramel, awake tea misto.

DELICIOUS.

Or Gingerbread Latté but the Holiday season never seems to last long enough.
i have never heard of the tea misto. i must try this, immediately.
It's DELICIOUS! It's basically like a London Fog (Earl Gray tea) but a little tastier. It's sweet but very light. Plus it's only $2.88 for a Venti so it's cheap as hell!
Awake tea mistos--so yum! When I first started working at starbucks I scoffed at people who ordered it, I thought they were snooty, but then I had one. Totally changed my opinion!
those gingerbread lattes are divine. it's one of the few things i enjoy between november - december.
It used to be a Grande Iced Skinny Vanilla Latte with half the usual amount of syrup. I got kinda burnt out on the vanilla though, so lately it's just been a non-fat latte, iced or hot, with sweetener. I don't go to coffee places very regularly though.
Grande Skinny Vanilla Latte!

(Or Irish Cream if they got it)
i always get a vanilla creme or a vanilla steam- it's steam milk with vanilla syrup. It's called something different at different places. But it has no caffeine, but it was great when I went to school in the mountains.
SAY NO TO STARBUCKS GUYS!!!

I have dedicated not one but TWO posts to my hatred of starbucks and yet my passion still burns...

Seriously though, check out the second one if you want to know why their coffee sucks, because it is truly inferior, and that is aside from the fact that they are an evil corporation ;-)
true, but there's something about the consistency of the product. even the littlest of cities have starbucks and while we may be in Ames, Iowa and wondering where to get a good cup of joe, something about the familiarity of starbucks is comforting..at least that's what my friends tell me. i'm over trying to convince them otherwise. your two posts were really great btw.

i support local coffee shops as much as possible when i'm traveling..and i'm really proud to say that in my town (austin) local businesses often trump places like starbucks. locals try to support local businesses as much as the can. i love it for that reason!

i only frequent starbucks when people make me. no excuse as i don't have to buy anything when i'm there but meh i do cave sometimes.
I hate when people play the big scary corporation angle. Starbucks makes a mean cup of whatever you order, every time. Sure they charge a lot, but the beauty of capitalism is picking and choosing where to spend my hard earned dollars, and how much I want to spend for that matter. I work hard for my money, hell, I work for a big scary corporation, life is good, and I refuse to be made to feel bad for my choice of beverage.
No.

I agree on the consistency comment--their product is certainly consistent--but "mean"? I have to disagree with you there.

Okay, I'm guilty of hitting up Starbucks for the sake of convenience (due to my inability to rise in a timely manner in the AM), and if I ever find myself in Iowa (God forbid) I will probably be looking for that ever-familiar logo.

But it still truly sucks...for reasons I've already written about ad nauseum so I'm just gonna leave it at that.
