When Someone you know finds your anonymous blog
I thought I was completely anonymous in my blog but found out I am not!
A guy after a 2nd date shocked me that he had found my blog...Read everything I had written about him on there. Nothing too terrible but I did say I didn't have an attraction to him. Ouch! I felt terrible. I still don't understand how he found it. Makes you wonder how anonymous we really are, huh? Am paranoid someone else will find it now.... Has anyone else ever experienced being 'found out'?

My blog is anonymous. I have a few friends who I've told about it because they are also bloggers. If I do get found out I don't think it'll be that bad, my boyfriend will probably get pretty pissed actually... But I love blogging! I feel like if everyone knew about it, I wouldn't be as candid and would have to worry about hurting people's feelings. I also use fake names for everyone on my blog, just in case.

it's so true. it changes your writing!
my flow used to be so much better when i was more comfortable and felt like no one i knew was reading.
it's a struggle now!

Wow that would be a giant bummer... I was actually going to say I wouldn't give a hell if someone I knew personally found my blog, it's primarily anonymous for professional reasons...
but I had to bite my tongue, because I'd die if that happened to me!!!

holy crap-
how anonymous were you? my blog is supposed to be just that. I haven't told a single soul that i blog, and i'm careful of blogging in public areas or others's computers. could you imagine the mess? i have included pictures recently, but i might delete them soon. and i've changed all the names in my stories.
and i created an account specifically for blogging only. not linked to anything else.
(i'm still getting ads on an email address when I offered to tutor 2 years ago!)

I think it's ok to be a little paranoid about people finding it. I am dating right now and so far one person has found it. Did you know that if you Google your name or e-mail, or even a username it can all lead back to your blog? Gives you something to think about. So I have put mine under a fake name an email address just so potential dates can't find me!
