The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Hey everyone! So recently I've been doing a lot of traveling and have loved every minute of it. But it got me thinking about why type of city I like and where I feel most myself. I can honestly say that as much as I want to be a "big city girl" I'm just not. I feel most comfortable in smaller to medium sized cities. However I am now happy with where I am right now, in my hometown of Erie, PA. Maybe it's because it is my hometown or maybe it's because there aren't any jobs here and most friends have moved away. Or maybe it's just me.

How many of you are honestly happy with the city you live in currently and why? And where would you live if you could?

I currently live with my parents for about another two weeks in the hometown I grew up in.. near Portland, OR.

January 16th I'm flying to India to spend a week in New Delhi then volunteering for 2 weeks in the Himalayas. After that, I'm moving abroad to the Philippines and living with my extended family for about a year. I have one way tickets, and no money set aside for the one way back. Stupid? Exciting? Courageous? DUMB??

If I could live anywhere, It would be someplace warm like the tropics. I guess that's the Philippines :) Not sure what I want to do on my next adventure, but I think something like California would be cool for awhile.
this sounds like an amazing adventure! I wish I had the guts to do something like this... good luck on everything though :)
I'm in D.C. It's okay. Fun times. However, I would love a change of pace. D.C. is good employmet and quality of life. I heard we made one of the nation's most recession proof cities..whatever that means. lol. I wish I could afford Boston..I hear it's a really nice place to live.
Boston and I love it. I can't imagine not living in a city. I love how there's so much history here. The buildings have tons of character.
I bet *insert jealousy*
I currently live just outside of Bangor, Maine. I like it, a lot. Its much bigger than the town I grew up in, which is about 2 hours north of here. However, my boyfriend has lived here his whole life (Ive been here 3.5 years) and wants to move to a big city. We're planning to move to Busan, South Korea next year!
I live in Montreal, Canada and I can honestly say that I love it. Besides the ridiculous amount of snow, I wouldn't change a thing about it. You can never see everything here- I can actually say that if I go downtown I could be a tourist in my own town... which is kind of fun every once in a while.
And besides that, it's really up and coming with festivals in the summertime. There's something to do every single day! And if you're a hockey fan... You've never witnessed a REAL hockey game until you've witnessed one in this city. It's one of the craziest Hockey towns out there!
Go for London! Ahem, not like I'm biased or anything. But London has recently overtaken NYC as 'city of culture and modernity' according to a few sources, and apparently the vibe between the two are fairly comparable, a similar concoction of the new, the artistic and the fiercely traditional.
i live in PUERTO RICO and i absolutely love it...!!!! u should definitely come visit !! you'll love the beaches!! .. after all, what isn't there to love about a tropical island?
xoxo
