Who's your celebrity crush?
So last night, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was performing, speaking, etc. at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, which, fortuitously, is my city. I, however, had some job stuff to do, and couldn't attend. The whole Fievel thing--you know, finding solace in the fact that we're sleeping underneath the same big sky--isn't quite as effective when you know that you could have actually, for one shining moment in time, been breathing the exact same air. I know I'm not the only one who's a total creepster when it comes to these unknowable, idealized folk.
So, who's you celebrity crush? Who was it when you were a kid? (The person doesn't have to be a movie star/musician. Historical figures are perfectly acceptable.)

When I was a kid, I had a HUGE crush on Fred Savage.
Now, it's pretty much Hugh Jackman all the way.

Gina. Oh my goodness. When I was in San Diego for Comic Con this year I saw Fred Savage just walking down the street and I paparazzied him with my iphone.
He was so cute in Little Monsters.

I recently watched Little Monsters for the first time since I was a kid (it's on netflix instant!) and it was a lot weirder than I remember...oh and I didn't realize it was Howie Mandell. That threw me off too.

Funnily, Penny and I were having dinner last night and she told me how much Little Monsters scarred her for life. She had to literally funn from her door to her bed because she didn't care how friendly this Monster was. She did NOT want to play.

That movie scarred me for life too. I'd managed to block it out until I was scrolling through Netflix yesterday and saw it listed there. Then all the horror came flooding back *shudder*

Haha, When I saw him on The Big Bang theory I thought he was rather nice looking... then I realized he looks JUST like my old 7&8th grade math teacher. I vomited in my mouth a little.... hah
