The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Yesterday, I found myself wondering if there was any reason to continue working on my blog (http://lambaround.blogspot.com). After all, it's not like I'm making money from it and there are certainly better things I could be doing with my time than sitting around, staring at a computer screen. I went back and read through the comments I've received - my excitement in blogging was restored and I addressed everyone who has written on my blog!

I blog because I'm ridiculously antisocial. By my standards, blogging is a top-notch way to socialize! Sad, right? But it works for me :)

Why do you blog?

I honestly don't remember why I started... I know what blog got me interested in it, but I can't remember ever just deciding that I was going to start. It's taken me a while, but I've met some amazing people through my blog. I stick around for those friendships... and the friendships to come. (:
Mind if I ask what blog got you started?

It's funny. For the longest time, all I did was read blogs. I had no desire whatsoever to create my own (and for the really good blogs, with detailed posts EVERY day and thousands of crystal-clear photos, I thought the authors had too much time on their hands!)
this one! though... it's a lot different now than it used to be. :/ things change.
J, it was the same one that made me start blogging too! It wasn't right away, but shortly after I read through all the old posts, I decided to start blogging myself. I honestly had no idea how long I would keep it up, or what I would write about, but I certainly am glad I started. I like looking back over the last year and seeing what I've done and what my favorite times were.
I don't think there was a point to it when I started in college and there still isn't for me expect it's cathartic. I don't spend as much time on it as I did in college but have met some wonderfully creative people over the years.
I came here not knowing what I'd say but I think I'm in the same boat as you. I'm a hermit but I find socialising on the internet to be okay.

Also I'm desperate for approval, so I love that people follow me!
I've been doing journaling in some form since junior high, when we were required to write every day in a notebook.
I'm also a huge fan of the Writing Down the Bones style of writing practice, and although I'm still new to blogging, I'm hoping to get into a regular pattern of writing.

I also want to make some friends. :)
I blog to make friends! It's an excellent way to meet people from other countries and states, learn about other cultures and get your ideas out there and read the ideas of others. Plus it's just fun!
It is fun, isn't it? It almost seems like something that could easily be considered either fun or a chore. I guess it's all in how you look at it!
I love to whine, plus its very therapeutic!
The Mimi Project
I blog for boredom prevention mostly, but also to keep my family and friends in the loop.

i started blogging because I LOVE reading blogs. And when i was just a reader I thought "wow what a cool way to capture memories". And i always put off blogging because i felt i had nothing to write about and every year that went by I was like, man it would have been cool to have a blog with entries from when I met Iggy, or when i started doing this or that. Sooo I just bit the bullet and im trying to blog more regularly now ;)
