The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Teacher Girl

Why is everyone married (or in a serious relationship)??

So I have over 100 blogs in my reader and the majority of them are bloggers who are in their 20's. Why then, I ask you, is everyone married??!!

I am turning 24 next week and just ended an almost 2 year relationship. I am so tired of the whole dating process. Every time I read blog posts about happily married 20 somethings, I get insanely jealous.

What gives? Is anyone else single out there?? I need some peeps here!

I'm 28 and single. You are definitely not alone.
I'm not a happily married 20-something. This is entirely by choice.

Then again, I don't blog about my personal life very much. If you follow it, you're guaranteed to never feel sorry for yourself.
LOL... you're asking this because you just ended a "married" relationship.. trust me, I've gone through those phases...

But yes, now that you've asked, it really does seem like everyone's in a solid, committed relationship! I guess it's just one of those phases of life you're supposed to go through?

Recently had a discussion about this...about taking the next step...whatever that may be...moving in together, buying a dog together, getting engaged, etc... Key takeaway? While you may be set up for "the next step" but you may not be ready to take it...
I am 28 and in a almost 6 year relationship. I had some fun fun single days (oh how I miss them!) in my early 20's but then, right when I had no care to be in a relationship, I met my BF and have built a pretty cool life with him. I cannot say that I would ever get married, that's a whole 'nother topic that I discuss sometimes on my blog, but it does sometimes boggle my mind to see 21 year olds married.
Cammy, from one single girl to another, you are soooo not alone. Goddamn. I think I'm the only single person left in my social group.

Anyway, I know you're going through a rough time, but if you're not together...there's definitely a reason. A good reason. When that life-altering, can't-live-without-you person comes along, you'll realize that everything happens for a reason.

Or at least I effing hope so.
I'm not married, nor in a relationship. I just officially ended a 4 year on-off relationship this summer. I've been looking for single blogs because- I love the married bloggers, but sometimes it's just depressing!!
I thought I was the only one single and looking. :P I'm 28 and single too. (Sheesh, that sounds like a comment on a singles website.)
Haha, I am definitely single, as are most of my girlfriends! I feel like marriage is still a very terrifying word...

And, I'm willing to bet that some of the married people get jealous of we singletons at times - whether or not they'd like to admit it... ;)
i'm sry to hear that. dating shouldnt be tiring :( gd luck to you!
I am Australian and I have a theory that Americans get married earlier...I'm not sure if you live in the U.S., I'm just guessing. Lots of my American friends are married, but I don't know many people my age here that are. Maybe I just hang out with immature people, I'm not quite sure. I know I just haven't found the right person and it's not really something to go rushing into. But I'm partying hard while I still can, as a single girl!
trust me you are not alone! I've always been the only (and always) single one out of my group of friends - and it definitely sucks.

right now, however, we're all single. they love it. i still think it sucks. but that's also 6 years of not having a real relationship talking.
I'm 29.5 and still not married yet and I have a break up behind me this year #fml

I follow many bloggers who are single :) Maybe you should follow me, hehe.. I'm new here btw, so excuse me, if I'm too perky.
