Why is everyone married (or in a serious relationship)??
So I have over 100 blogs in my reader and the majority of them are bloggers who are in their 20's. Why then, I ask you, is everyone married??!!
I am turning 24 next week and just ended an almost 2 year relationship. I am so tired of the whole dating process. Every time I read blog posts about happily married 20 somethings, I get insanely jealous.
What gives? Is anyone else single out there?? I need some peeps here!

lol you'll never be alone in a network like this :) im not married or in a relationship (anymore). it all got too complicated as soon as the idea of marriage crept in. a few of my friends are married/soon to be engaged. im happy for them, but im not ready to join them quite yet :p

I certainly didn't plan to be in a serious relationship at 21 (let alone have been in one for the last three years). I always though I was going to grow up to be Bridget Jones - but then it just happened. I met someone, we became best friends, we fell in love. You aren't alone though! I'm actually one of the only ones in my circle of friends who is in a relationship.

Oh if they're not already knee-deep in dirty diapers then they just got married. And if not, then they're planning to. Plus, it's the law of the land. When you don't have something and you choose to focus on what you don't have, then it seems like EVERYONE around you is happily paired off but you. Trust me, I know and I also wondered where the young single peeps were.

Holy cheeses, it's only due to married folks' crazy mad happyness of lies that the rest of us Singletons feel like the rainbow is more colourful if it's attached to a contract. Be free, sleep in a double bed, everything happens for a reason, even if it's coincidence that people in their 20s whom you once hung out with have 3 kids, a posh spouse, 2 cars and a dog and the 'happy'.
There is no such thing as 'too late' or 'too old' or 'happyness' - you make your own life, or steal someone else's.

I'm 25 and in a relationship. Have been for 2 years.
When I see happily married 20-somethings I wonder where they found the fearlessness and maturity to get married at this age.

I'm a 20 something and single! Actually I've been single for a bit too long actually... I'm ready for a boy. But since that doesn't seem to be happening, I'll say it again... I'm single! :)

Oh I feel you, most of my friends are either in relationships or married, and some of them are even on the whole i-want-kids-now phase! It's definitely something unexpected, and at times I do want a relationship, but right now I'm enjoying the fact that I am single and do whatever I want. It's all about perspective.
