Why That Title?

I asked this once, like a millionty years ago, and it was a fascinating conversation, so I'm going to ask it again.

Tell me about your blog title. What does it mean? Why did you pick it? If you could change it now without confusing people, would you? To what?

I made mine a variation of my real name. My real name is really common, and already taken as a domain name. My parents obviously weren't thinking too far ahead. ;)

i used to blog mainly on my blog CannyChic (about being frugal, and fashionable) . The name fit very well, i thought! But i wanted a blog where i could be myself on, too. So I made one "all about alynne", calling it pink lemonade. a ltitle sour, a little sweet. 

but now, i mostly just blog there (httP://allaboutalynne.blogspot.com) so.. now i dont really think that the title fits. because it's not all about me. and i don't even talk about lemonade. 

lol.

I wanted something to illustrate passion for life, so I decided to name my blog "The Fire in my Eyes". Well, that, and I love fire (I'm into the Burning Man philosophy)

Later, I learnt that it's also the title of a poem someone wrote, but I don't mind. Hopefully people won't confuse the two. I mean, aren't we all allowed a bit of fire in our eyes?

My blog title is 53blonde -- not creative at all, because I'm 53 and blonde. My original blog was flower child in the country... then I decided to move to Boston, so I changed it to city. When I decided not to move at all, I was just confusing everyone so I decided to stick with something that won't' be changing anytime soon!

My blog URL is, uh, my first and last name. That's it. Nothing else.

My blog title, though, came from a Morrissey song called "You Know I Couldn't Last".

i chose my blog title because it's from sex and the city. and it kinda defines my life for the past almost 10 years. i have a plan for what i'm going to change it to when i actually find "the one," but shhhhhh it's a secret.
