Ok, I really have my match and it is all because I knew what I wanted.

*He has to play an instrument and understand chord and tonal theory.
*English can't be his first language.
*Have creative outlets
*Be well-read and opinionated.
*Can't be a drinker.
*Has to like and get along with his parents (Mom very extra important)
*Want kids--seem like he would be good at it

I've only dated like three other people before I came up with this list and learned what I want. I feel pretty lucky all the major bases are covered.....Now, if only my guy ate fish.

Those, I think, are not impossible qualities, and not unreasonable to ask for.

The actual physical look of a person doesn't so much matter to me, I like a variety of looks from tall, dark and handsome to short, light and funny-looking. Although, the one physical characteristic I'm partial to is light eyes. I have big black marble eyes and have always admired light ones.

I'm super super super picky. I place so much emphasis on their values...I'm actually thinking of writing a post about this soon.

I met my man 8 months ago in a bar in Switzerland. I am British/Japanese and he is German. I hadn't been single for very long so I wasn't looking for a relationship, but he was persistent so I went on a date with him. On this first date of ours I tested him; I told him how picky I am and what sort of weird criteria I set. I figured if he was worth being with, he would stick around despite my seemingly insane requirements/statement (who does that on a first date!?) or he would run away and I could continue enjoying the freedom of being single.

Turns out he's perfect.

Personality plays a lot in it, but honestly, I am subconsciously attracted to a certain look, which is fairly important: brown hair, brown eyes.
As far as personality goes, I really like girls with that really warm, caring personality. Someone who is laid back and levelheaded.
And if we are talking about ideals, I would prefer her to be older than I am. I've just always been attracted to older women, for some reason.
The closest thing to the perfect woman I could show you is Mariska Hargitay.

I've seen multiple interviews with her and she has the most charming personality. She is also just a wonderful person (from what I have seen).

I think the perfect partner is someone who complements your personality in ways you could have never expected, someone who will make your heart skip a beat even after you've been together for a long time, someone whose hand fits yours perfectly, and someone who makes you feel like you're the perfect partner for them.

My perfect partner would probably be a combination of Chewbacca, Lando Calrissean, and Short Round from Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom.
