The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Get real with yourself and find out how much you REALLY owe on credit cards, student loans, car loans, etc. What are the most difficult things about getting them paid off? Do you have any pointers for people who are struggling to pay off debt?

I must admit... I am unaware of how much I REALLY owe to credit card companies. I have been to 3 different colleges and have taken loans out at each one and have opened various credit cards along the way. I'm nervous that I have debt that I am unaware of!
I'm sure it's close to $20,000 total- encompassing credit cards, school loans, and medical bills!
Seems like SUCH a large number!

I only have one personally, but I also count my husband's. In total, I think we owe $5000-6000. It sucks because we want to get our own place and a new car, but we have to wait until we're completely out of debt.

I don't have credit card debit but my student loans are killing me!

My credit card is sitting at $4,039, my line of credit is sitting at $10,900, and my car loan is sitting at $8,300. Add that onto a $235,000 mortgage and I'm not comfy :( My blog was started as a way to keep myself accountable as I work on paying it off.

it's a christian book, buy try reading "weird" by craig groeshel. It's helped me soo much, I changed right after I read it and I don't even feel deprived lol

I have $27,000 on my student line of credit, which is just hovering over me...

I'm not making enough money to pay off what I'd like to put towards it every month. Between my rent, utilities and debt repayment it's about 60% of my income. That's not food, housewares, toiletries, nothing. I don't spend a lot of money on things outside of these categories, 'cause you can't spend what you don't have!

It's frustrating.
