Comment by The Jones on June 21, 2012 at 10:46pm So after an insanely long absence from the 20SB community I'm getting back into it. Question for you writers out there, I feel like it can be hard to be motivated with your creative projects without some kind of a feedback loop. How do you guys deal with that? Do you have writing groups that you meet with? Have mentors? Snort horse adrenaline and chain yourself to your laptop until a book comes out or the police take you away?
Comment by Tabs on June 21, 2012 at 5:33pm @Jazz - Sorry, but those aren't really my areas of expertise/interests :(
I have two blogs. One I blog about pretty much everything; my life, my geekiness, geeky things, photography, etc. The other is my ministry blog focused specifically on ministry and Christianity.
Comment by Becoming SuperMommy on June 15, 2012 at 7:32pm I usually blog about the humor and profundity in raising miniature humans, but in recent days I pretty much just post photographs of my kids during our morning outings because I'm too exhausted from being two weeks past my due date with another baby to use my brain for anything more useful.

Comment by Erini CS on June 1, 2012 at 8:37am I signed up for Camp NaNo... needed good motivation to keep writing this summer while school's on break!
Comment by Erini CS on May 29, 2012 at 10:50pm Kristen - I've heard of Camp NaNoWriMo, but haven't looked into it. I know NaNo, the regular NaNo.. but that's November. Definitely go for it, as I was able to get a good start on several short stories last NaNo--and am still working on the Novel from 2 years ago.
... in other news: LOTS of good notes and insights into that story from 2 years ago. It's growing and definitely becoming something better. Now I just need to take all these notes and ideas from my writing journal and turn them into real parts of the story. Flesh them out. Feeling very good about it, but would still like to write a complete short story before the weekend if possible.
Comment by Kristen Haynie on May 29, 2012 at 4:10pm I'm attending Camp NaNoWriMo in June! It's a virtual camp, during which participants aim to write a 50,000 word novel in one month. Is anyone else participating? This is my first time doing NaNoWriMo, and I'm so excited!
